Medicine, not narcotics
Ryan’s prescription became impossible to fill during the nationwide Adderall shortage the FDA declared in October 2022. Federal prosecutors have charged him over distributing amphetamine, along with related money-laundering counts. Ryan says he has never taken or sold narcotics, and that no narcotics or fentanyl were ever found. He was helping people with ADHD who, like him, could not get their medicine.
“Now the government is treating the medicine I was taking — medicine that is prescribed to millions of Americans every single day — as if it were heroin. As if it were crack cocaine. … I am not that man. I was never that man.”Ryan Brandstrom
These are the government’s allegations, not findings. Ryan Brandstrom is presumed innocent unless and until a jury unanimously finds him guilty beyond a reasonable doubt.
